Personal data
Personal data is data relating to you. This includes your name, address and e-mail address. You also do not have to disclose any personal data to visit our website. In some cases, we will need your name and address and other information to be able to offer you the desired services.

The same applies if we supply you with information material on request or if we answer your enquiries. In these cases we will always make you aware of this. Furthermore, we will only store the data that you have transmitted to us automatically or voluntarily.

If you use one of our services, we will usually only collect the data that is necessary to enable us to offer you our service. We may ask you for further information, but this is voluntary. Whenever we process personal data, we do so to provide you with our services or to pursue our commercial goals.

Automatically saved data

Server log files
The provider of the pages automatically collects and stores information in what are known as server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us. They are:

This data is not combined with other data sources. Processing is carried out in accordance with Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR on the basis of our legitimate interest in improving the stability and functionality of our website.

For reasons of technical security, in particular to prevent attempts to attack our web server, we store this data for a short period of time. It is not possible for us to draw conclusions about individual persons on the basis of this data. At the latest after seven days, the data is anonymised by shortening the IP address at domain level, so that it is no longer possible to establish a reference to individual users. In an anonymised form, the data is also processed for statistical purposes; no comparison is made with other data records and no data, not even extracts, is transferred to third parties. The number of page views is only displayed as part of our server statistics, which we publish every two years in our activity report.

Cookies
When you visit our website, we may store some information on your computer in the form of cookies. Cookies are small data files transferred to your browser from a web server and stored on your computer's hard drive. Only the Internet protocol address is saved here – no personal data. This information stored in the cookies will allow us to automatically recognize you the next time you visit our website, which makes your use easier. The legal basis for the use of cookies is a legitimate interest in accordance with Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

Naturally, you can also visit our website without accepting cookies. If you do not want your computer to be recognized on your next visit, you can also refuse the use of cookies by changing your browser’s settings to “refuse cookies”. You will find the respective procedure in your respective browser’s operating instructions. However, if you refuse the use of cookies, this may entail restrictions on the use of certain areas of our website.

Typekit by Adobe
External fonts from Typekit are used on our website. Typekit is a service offered by the company Adobe. The web fonts are incorporated by means of a call to the server at Adobe (in the USA). The IP address of the browser on your device is saved by Adobe. You can find more detailed information in the Typekit privacy policy: http://www.adobe.com/privacy/typekit.html and in the Adobe privacy policy: http://www.adobe.com/de/privacy/cookies.html
