Florian Schwepcke is an associate in the areas of Corporate Law and Dispute Resolution / Litigation.
He advises and represents national and international companies in all areas of German and international commercial and corporate law as well as inheritance law, both in and out of court.
One of the main focuses of his practice is advising on the establishment of corporate and contractual structures of a company, in particular in the context of start-ups, restructurings or financing arrangements, as well as ongoing advice on corporate and inheritance law, including the drafting and amendment of contracts, in particular managing director service agreements. Another focus of his practice is the management of complex judicial and extrajudicial disputes of the companies he advises in commercial and corporate law, insolvency law and in the area of shareholder disputes. He specializes in German-Italian legal relations, in particular in the area of supply chains and advises Italian companies, in particular in their role as shareholders of German subsidiaries, as well as on cross-border commercial and corporate law. He also assists and advises on corporate transactions and complex due diligences.
In addition to his work as a lawyer, Florian Schwepcke is engaged in legal research, in particular for the Research Center for Italian Law at the Ludwig-Maximilians-University of Munich, where he worked as a research assistant until 2024. He is also currently working on his Ph.D. on non-voting capital investments in German-Italian comparative law at the Ludwig-Maximilians-University of Munich. He is already familiar with supranational M&A processes thanks to his work at a leading international commercial law firm.
